THOR Robot Separator
THOR is a laundry robot from Inwatec that takes soiled garments, towels and flat linen from a pile and separates them one by one, using 3D cameras and smart grippers, at 1,200 to 1,500 pieces per hour depending on item size. Staff only lift laundry from the trolley into the system, which cuts manual sorting and contact with soiled textiles.
